Generation One: Week 2 - Fall

Welcome back to My Simself Name Game Challenge.  Last time our founder, Elyza Bennet and her dog Lucy moved into a starter home in Gibbs Hill (Britechester).  Elyza took a job as a freelance artist.  While taking Lucy to the vet she met Liam (still can't remember his last name).  They fell in love, eloped and had triplets.  Wish me luck as this will be the first time I have dealt with triplets since the infant update.

Sunday

I arrived back at the Bennet household at 4 am.  Liam is up tending to one of the screaming triplets.

Elyza is also up making an early breakfast for herself and Liam.

While Liam and Elyza are occupied, Lucy went outside and rolled in a puddle of her own pee.

Elyza went outside and told Lucy to stop rolling in puddles.

Elyza then gave Lucy a bath.

And spent some time pampering her on the couch.  We don't want Lucy to feel neglected now that the triplets are here.

Meanwhile, Liam is still upstairs tending to the triplets.  He reached parenting level 3.

Once the triplets were all asleep, Elyza and Liam each took on a new freelance gig.  Elyza needs to create a forgery and Liam needs to make a rug on the fabricator.

Elyza spent some time looking at reference images online.

Poor Liam had a run-in with the fabricator.

Once Elyza was done with the computer, Liam uses it to chat with the client.  Elyza kept him company while she worked on her forgery.

Elyza's forgery was perfect.  She got all of the details so accurate that when it was reviewed by an art expert they thought it was the original.  Elyza's client was pleased and gave her a sizable bonus . . . or was it hush money?

After chatting with his client, Liam tried again to make a rug on the fabricator.  He was successful this time and his client was pleased.

Liam decided to form a club called "The Fabricators" and invited other sims with the fabrication skill to join.  One of those members is Kara from our Whimsy save.

While Liam worked on his gig, Elyza tended to the triplets.  She reached level 3 in the parenting skill.

At this point Sunday is almost over (I think it was 8 pm).  Elyza and Liam ate some leftovers.  Liam had a salad and Elyza some fish tacos.

Liam and Elyza finished the day with some shower woohoo.  The triplets will be aging up into infants soon, so this is probably their last opportunity for any alone time in a long while.

Monday

Monday morning started with Liam tending to the triplets.  He also reached level 4 in the parenting skill.

Looks like it is time to age the triplets into infants. I am not going to lie I am NOT ready. I have had twins since infants came out but not triplets.

Ethan has the wiggly trait, Erick is sunny, and Edith is calm.

Liam and Elyza start on tummy time with the boys Erick and Ethan.

They both quickly unlocked the "lift head" milestone.

Once the boys went down for a nap, Elyza fed Edith.

Changed what must have been a VERY smelly diaper.

And then played with Edith on the play mat, where Edith unlocked the reach milestone. She can now play with toys on her own.

I do have risky woohoo enabled, so figured Elyza better take a pregnancy test.  I can't believe it is positive. Also where in the word did those long finger nails come from.  I did not give her those in CAS.

Liam was very happy with the news and decided he wants to become family-oriented.

Masato called and asked if he should go on a date with Leon Howard.  Elyza told him to "go for it!"

I swear the game is out to get me as I didn't get a single "self-soother".  Instead I got one infant (Edith) that loves being held and two with the snuggly sleeper quirk.  That means none of them are going to want to sleep in their cribs.

Elyza did manage to find a few minutes during the day to pay some attention to Lucy.

And to complete an angry painting.  While doing so, she reached level 7 in the painting skill.

Later Erick became the first of the toddlers to suffer a blowout.

Liam gave Erick his first bubble bath which unlocked two more milestones.

Liam and Elyza were so exhausted by the end of the day that they fell asleep on the couch.

Tuesday

I am not going to lie, after one day with triplet infants I needed a break.  I also don't want any random pet pregnancies - the house is full enough.  Therefore, Elyza escaped the chaos at home and took Lucy to the vet to be spayed.

Poor Lucy! This is the second chapter in a row that has had her stuck in a cone.  She looks so miserable.

Apparently it was a great day to visit the vet clinic as Elyza got to meet Adam from the Difference In the Family Tree (DIFT) challenge, Dia from the Live for Something Legacy, Cole from the Get Collecting Challenge, and Holly from my Career Legacy.

I decided to create a club for them to join.  Eventually we can add three more founders but unfortunately won't be able to include all 10.  I will of course not be adding Amber Stein from my Lepacy Challege because she is only supposed to utilize base game game features and clubs are part of Get Together.  Not sure who else to exclude though.  Or should I use a mod that allows for more club members?

While at the vet, Elyza received a notification for GeekCon.  Attending GeekCon really has nothing to do with Elyza's generation but since it means more hours away from the infant triplets I am all four it.

Elyza invited the members of The Achievers to join her at GeekCon.  She visited with Holly and entered the Ultimate Gaming Competition with Dia.

Liam joined, so the triplets went to daycare, and had fun playing video games with Cole and Adam.

While at GeekCon, Elyza entered her second trimester.  Liam was excited to feel the baby.

Before going home, the couple stopped by the hospital for an ultrasound. They learned that Elyza is having one boy.  I am so relieved it isn't twins or triplets again.

Upon returning home, Ethan and Erick unlocked the coo milestone while Ethan can now reach for things.

The triplets came home from daycare with their needs all in the green.  That meant it was the perfect opportunity to do some tummy time.

Edith learned to lift her head and roll over onto her back.  Erick learned to roll over onto his back and tummy.  Ethan learned to coo.

Erick also learned how to reach for things.

While Edith unlocked the ability to grab.

Tuesday ends with Elyza and Liam putting the triplets to bed.

Wednesday

OH NO!!!!! Lucy is running away!!!

Elyza quickly puts out an alert for her missing pet.  Hopefully Lucy comes home soon.

Liam spent the morning doing tummy time with Ethan. He unlocks the ability to roll over onto his back.

Erick woke up and unlocked the ability to creep.

Elyza did tummy time with Edith and now she can do tummy time on her own.

Edith did some more tummy time on her own while Liam continued to work with Ethan.  Meanwhile, Elyza worked on teaching Erick to sit.

Erick completed the sit up milestone while Ethan learned to roll over.

Next, Elyza worked with Erick on learning how to crawl.  Elyza, those nails are scary.  I really need to remember to change them in CAS.

Elyza also played peek-a-boo with Erick and he learned how to laugh.

Meanwhile, poor Liam was in the process of feeding Edith when she had her first blowout.

Liam gave her a bath before taking a shower of his own.

Ethan was doing tummy time on his own and learned to creep.

YAY!! Lucy is home!

She was filthy, so Liam gave her a bath and then spent time playing with her.  Please don't run away again Lucy.

Wednesday came to an end with all of the infants asleep at the same time.

Thursday

Both Edith and Ethan managed to sleep through the night.  Poor Ethan woke up with his first blowout.

Liam gave Ethan his first bubble bath and reached level 5 in the parenting skill.

Meanwhile, Elyza worked with Edith on how to sit up.  Edith quickly unlocked the sit up milestone and learned to laugh.

After his bath, Ethan practiced sitting with Liam while Edith played with her purple sheep.

She then learned how to put her toe in her mouth.

While practicing crawling with Elyza, Ethan learned how to laugh.

I don't want Lucy to run away again, so Edith spends some time petting her.

Later they take a nap together, which is the cutest thing ever.

Ethan unlocked the crawl milestone.

I forgot that Ethan didn't have all of his quirks yet.  Turns out he is a free-air tinkler.  He is also really tired and in need of a nap.

It is harvest fest, so Elyza gave the gnomes some pie which made them happy.  She then sold the gnomes.  The family is going to need a bigger house soon and with infant triplets to take care of Elyza and Liam haven't taken any gigs in awhile.

Once again, Lucy decided to roll around in her own pee.  Elyza told her to stop doing that.  Thankfully Lucy has finally learned not to to play in puddles.

I know what that face means.  Elyza must be in labor.

That ultrasound had better have been correct.  It better not be triplets this time!

Thankfully the Ultrasound was correct and we add baby boy Lucas to the family.  If he is voted heir that would add letters U, C, and S.

Back at home, both Ethan and Erick unlocked the grab
   milestone.

I think this photo is cute with the toddlers all sitting up in the background while Liam feeds baby Lucas.

Elyza reached cooking level 6 while making a grand meal for Harvestfest.

Erick learned to crawl and went to join his siblings.  I think Edith and Ethan also learned to babble but I didn't get a screenshot.

After enjoying their grand meal, Elyza and Liam spent time teaching Edith and Erick to stand while Ethan played with his toy sheep.

Thursday came to an end with everyone sound asleep.

Friday

On Friday morning, Liam was up early tending to Lucas. Liam now has level 6 parenting skill.

Ethan and Edith reached some important milestones as they both pull themselves up to stand in their cribs. Ethan also learns how to put his toe into his mouth.

Poor Liam forgot that Ethan was a free air tinkler.

Now that all three infants have learned to sit up it is time to try food in the highchair.  Edith is up first and liked yogurt.  She also immediately unlocked the pincer grasp milestone.

Which meant Edith can try finger food for the first time.  Since she liked yogurt it is no surprise that she also enjoyed yogurt melts.

After feeding Edith, Elyza put her in the living room next to the stereo.  Edith quickly learned to clap and unlocked the dance milestone.

Elyza then fed a very stinky Erick.  He tried yogurt, pumpkin puree, and ice cream.  He enjoyed all three but the yogurt and ice cream where his favorite.  We also learned that he has the messy eater quirk.

Then it was Ethan's turn to try food for the first time.  Unlike his siblings, Ethan was unsure about the yogurt.

It is already time for Lucas to age up into an infant.  There is NO way I can handle four infants at a time.  Therefore, the plan is to wait for Lucas to age up on his own.

Once the infants were all fed, Elyza spent some time pampering Lucy on the couch.

Elyza also decided she wanted to have a cheerful personality.

"What do you say we try for baby Y?"

Liam agreed and the pair had some shower woohoo.  Fortunately (for my sanity at any rate) Elyza is not pregnant.  I honestly think we should wait until Lucas is a toddler before we try again.

Saturday

Saturday morning started with the notification that it is the triplets birthday.  I am so looking forward to them finally being toddlers.  I have a birthday party planned for 11 am.  Since it is only 6 am there are a few things to do first.

Ethan unlocked a few more infant milestone, as he learned how to dance.

He then unlocked the pincer grasp and tried finger food for the first time.

I realized that Edith still didn't have the creep or crawl milestones unlocked, so Elyza did some tummy time with her.  Edith unlocked the creep milestone but there wasn't time to get crawl done.

It is time for Elyza to make the triplets birthday cake.

Why did I invite Masato to the party??  All he ever does is distract Elyza when she is trying to do other tasks.

Once the cake was made, Elyza and Liam took turns helping the triplets blow out their birthday candles.

Erick has the silly trait.

 Ethan is an insquisitive toddler.

Right away, Ethan revealed two quirks.  He is a wanderer and a light sleeper.  GREAT!!! That means he is going to be roaming all over the house and yard in the middle of the night.

Edith is a little charmer.  I can't believe not one of the triplets rolled independent.

Lucas also aged up into a calm infant.

In addition to Masato, Elyza also invited over several other played sims from other challinges including Dia Constar from the Something to Live For Legacy, Cole Lexion from the Get Collecting Challenge, Kara Gutenburg from the Whimsy Expanded Legacy, Holly Woods from the Career Legacy Challenge, and Adam Equidae from DIFT.

HOLLY!!!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING!!!! YOU HAVE A FIANCE!!! STOP FLIRTING WITH ADAM!  HE IS ENGAGED!!!!

The toddlers are so cute bopping to the kids radio.

Once the party ended, it was time to potty train the triplets.  Since none of them can potty train themselves, I had Edith watch her brothers on the potty. That way all three of them worked on their potty training skill at the same time.

Then it was time to turn in for the night.  I can't believe I managed to get the triplets and Lucas all down at the same time.

Liam and Elyza took advantage of the sleeping kiddos and went to bed early.

Even Lucy decided it was time for a nap on the sofa.  I let the clock run until 4 am and then it was time to say goodbye to the Bennet family for now.  Up next I will be returning to San Myshuno and Dia Constar's life as a mixologist in the big city.
