Generation One: Week 8 - Summer Part 2

 Monday Afternoon

I didn't get much in the way of screenshots for Monday afternoon.  Edith came home from computer club and played some video games.

Yvone worked on her cheer team routines.

Elyza put Axton to bed and that wrapped up the rest of Monday.

Tuesday

On Tuesday morning we got two more Neighborhood Stories notifications. The Nishidake family adopted a dog and the Linh-Sadya household are expecting a baby.

The boys were in their room doing their homework before school.

While the girls did the same in their room.   I think it is funny that none of them used a desk or table.

Axton must have reached level 2 of the potty skill as he is able to go on his own now.

I totally forgot that Elyza is going through a midlife crisis.  She wanted to try cross-stitching so I figured sure why not.

Liam came upstairs with that annoying blob of clay. He spent some time chatting with Ethan.  Then it was time for everyone to head to school and or work.  Axton went to daycare and the clock speed through the day.

So our next photo isn't until after 3 when the kids got home from school. They ate some BLTs.

There fun was really low so they all had a dance party. Axton joined and reached movement level 4.

With their fun up the kids all did their homework.

Elyza put Axton to bed and read him a bedtime story.

Elyza stayed up late to do a live stream. She reached level 8 in the video gaming skill.

Elyza also wanted to try flower arranging as part of her midlife crisis so she did a little of that before going to bed.

Wednesday

For our Wednesday Neighborhood Stories update we learn that Diego Valdivia started a job in the freelance programmer career while the Luna-Sullivan household is expecting a baby.

Elyza was up early live streaming. For a minute I thought she never went to bed but then realized she was in her pajamas so she must have at least gotten a few hours of sleep.

Axton maxed the potty training skill.

And then did some flashcards with his dad.

Edith already has an A in school so I let her take a vacation day mainly so that Axton wouldn't have to go to daycare when Edith went to work. Since Liam doesn't technically live in the household (he is in a rental unit in the basement) he can't watch his son while everyone else is at work/school. I really wish outside friends and family members could watch infants and toddlers.  Axton needs to work on this thinking skill and I find having him "watch" others is the fast way to get it up so I had him watch Edith and Liam work on a school project.

 Axton and his dad now have the jokesters family dynamic.

Elyza came home with a promotion to Watercolor Dabbler.

She has the renaissance sim aspiration and needs to reach level 3 in three different careers. Therefore it was time to quit her job as a painter and join the writer career.

Elyza then worked on making some more flower arrangements.

It was once again a big day for promotions as both Erick and Yvone came home with promotions in their respective after school activities.

Ethan and Lucas danced to some music on the stereo to get their fun up.

Then Ethan went for a jog to clear his mind.

Despite having spent the entire day working on a school project with her dad Edith's social need was low so she called her boyfriend and they chatted for awhile.

Elyza completed another flower arrangement.

This time it was Yvone that put Axton to bed with a bedtime story.

Thursday

For Thursday's Neighborhood Stories update we learn that the Kay household is having a baby while Juila Durmont left her job as a scientist.

I followed the kids to school again on Thursday. Lucus spent class daydreaming it looks like the rest of the teens took notes.

Then in the afternoon it was time to head to the career fair. Erick was interested in learning more about what the professional athlete had to say.

But Edith and Ethan were more interested in making out with their boyfriends.

Back at home Axton maxed the movement skill while playing on the toddler slide.

Then he asked his mom "why, why, why" a dozen times and maxed the thinking skill.

Axton maxed all his skills and will earn the top-notch toddler trait.

I decided to have everyone go to the park in Willow Creek for the birthday party.  Bella Goth came spun the party horn thing while Axton blew out his birthday candles.

Axton has the creative trait and one of the growing together aspirations. Playtime Captain maybe? It is the one that has having a sleepover as one of the requirements.

Then it was time for the triplets to age into Young Adults.

So I did a heir poll part 1 over on Boolprop.net to see which of the triplets should remain eligible for heir and it looks like Erick is the winner. I was surprised as I thought for sure it was going to go to Edith.  But this means it is time for Edith and Ethan to move out.

I feel like poor Ethan hasn't gotten much screen time so I had him propose to his boyfriend Myles (after aging Myles up first).  Myles said yes.

The happy couple decided "why wait" and got married under the arch in the park right away.

The newlyweds shared a first kiss.

And then got attacked by bees.

Ethan moved in with Myles, his parents and older sister in San Myshuno.

Edith's boyfriend Clark also aged up. They got also got an apartment together in San Myshuno.

Friday

On Friday we learned that Faye and Cletus Harris are expecting a baby.  The Michaelson family in San Sequoia adopted a dog.

With Edith and Ethan now out of the household I was able to switch the house back to a regular residential lot.  I gave Erick the room in the basement and added some sports posters and trophies.

I redid the room Yvone shared with her sister and gave her a double bed.  I tried to make it feel more like a teenager's room.

We don't need the toddler room anymore so that was converted into a room for Lucas.

Then for Zack and Axton I added some more toys like the Void Critter station.

Elyza, Liam, and Erick enjoyed a pancake breakfast.

Elyza decided that she is family oriented. I think this is very fitting seeing as she had 7 children.

For his aspiration, Erick needed to work out at a gym so I sent him to the one in Willow Creek. I had Liam go with him for some father/son bonding.

 

Meanwhile in school Lucas was left in charge of the class while the teacher stepped out to talk to a parent. He was given the choice to follow the teacher's plan or do fun stuff. Lucas decided to just follow the plan and thankfully his classmates didn't seem to care.

 

Then it was Elyza's turn to get a pop-up. Her boss's latest story is full of errors so Elyza worked hard to fix them. Elyza's boss was impressed and she got some performance gain.

It was time for the Cheer Team event at school so I sent Yvone but she was the only one on the field.

I look over and a bunch of teens are walking off the lot not staying for the event.  I don't know if this is a issue with the mod that lets me choose my classmates or something else.

Yvone didn't seem to care. She bought a fancy new cheer outfit.

And practiced her cheer routines. The only downside was there was no judge so she didn't have an opportunity to win the even.

Since no one showed up to the cheer team event I didn't feel bad about leaving early. I decided Axton should host a sleepover.  He joined the Achiever Kids club and invited over several club members.  They ate pizza.

Played video games.

Danced to kids music on the stereo.

And for some reason stood behind the couch to watch a movie.

It is summer so I figured the kids could all sleep outside.  Axton told some stories from his sleeping bag.

Then it was time for everyone to go to sleep for the night.

Saturday

Saturday was pretty uneventful.  Elyza needs to get 6 skills to level 8 so she worked on some paintings.

Lucas and Yvone worked on their promposal signs.

Axton worked on creating a friendship bracelet.  I didn't get any photos of Zack but I believe he was working on his aspiration tasks.

Despite the fact that Brett is mean I do think he and Yvone are cute together so I had her ask him to prom again.  He said, "YES!!! I will TOTALLY go to prom with you."

For some reason when Lucas went to ask Anna to prom it said they were already going together. I guess he made that promposal sign for nothing.

Now that I can control Liam again I had him do a freelance crafter gig.

Then it was time to head to prom.  Yvone voted for prom royalty and jester.

Then she shared a slow dance with Brett.

Lucas greeted Anna outside with a big kiss.

Then he went inside to cast his vote for prom royalty and jester.

This time the game didn't glitch and winners were announced. Unfortunately, none of our played sims on this time.

Lucas and Anna snuck off to the coat closet to make out/mess around.

While Yvone and Brett shared a kiss on the dance floor.  Overall it was a really fun prom and I think we got silver.

Sunday

On Sunday we learned that Camila Rico joined the floral designer career and the Nouvel household adopted a cat.

The family all gathered around the table to eat breakfast together.

Then Zack and Axton played void critters together. I never really use this item so it was kind of fun watching the boys play with it.

Liam started a midlife crisis and has the desire for success. 

I had him quit his job as a freelance crafter and join the business career.

As you may recall, Liam actually won the lottery so it was actually very fitting to have a money vault in the basement.

Liam then played some chess with Yvone.

Axton did a puzzle with Erick.

Zack worked on his aspiration by practicing his typing on the computer.

Liam worked on some reports for work.

Erick got in a good workout and reached fitness level 6.

 

Elyza came home from work with a promotion to blogger.

The entire family ate a late dinner together and went to bed early.

Monday Morning

It is our last update for this rotation and boy is it a big one.  We learned that Arun Bheeda is having a baby with Miko Ojo.  Arun is Jasminder Bheeda's ex husband. If you recall from the last Live For Something update Jasminder moved in with Dia Constar after she found out Arun had been cheating on her with Penny Pizzazz.  Now it looks like he has move don to Miko. 

Elyza is up early reading a book.  I can't remember if that was a work task or something she needed to do for her aspiration.

I had been debating about whether or not to enroll Erick in University but decided to just let him join the athlete career.  I don't know yet if Erick will be heir or not and I don't really want to play through University with him if I don't need to.

Erick then spent some time working on his charisma skill.

Before inviting Tiffany over to hangout.  Erick made what looks like some sort of really awkward kiss face.

Tiffany didn't seem to mind and they both got really flirty.

I downloaded a "More Kisses" mod and this is one of them.  I think it is some sort of dip kiss.

Then they went to Erick's room for some afternoon woohoo.  Hopefully Tiffany isn't pregnant as I am not ready for the next generation to be born just yet.

 

While at work Elyza's boss asked her to drop everything and watch for some possible breaking news.  Elyza was really busy but decided to do as her boss asked and focus in which paid off. Elyza was ready when the news event happened and she got her first exclusive.

The kids all came home from school. Things didn't go very well for Lucas and Axton but Yvone is on her way to becoming valedictorian while Zack is one of the top students in his class.

 

Given that Lucas scored below average on his exams I was surprised with Lucas got the option to graduate early.  I said yes as he will be aging up soon anyway.

He invited Anna over and they celebrated with a kiss. 

 

Liam has one of the family aspirations and needed to help his kids with their homework.

Once their homework was done the boys played some hopscotch.  This brings us to 5:30 pm on Monday.  I thought about waiting for Elyza to get home from work at 7 pm but she isn't close to another promotion just yet.  I had hoped to wrap up Gen One with this update but since Zack and Axton are still children I guess we will go one more round as I would like them to be teens when I do the heir poll.  Plus Elyza still needs to finish her aspiration.
