Monday Afternoon
Liam and Elyza played some chess.
Axton went to sleep in the tree house and completed another aspiration.
Tuesday
On Tuesday most of the Neighborhood Stories were about relationship changes. The one exception is Samuel Parker got a job as a land surveyor in the conservation career.
Elyza mentored Zack in cooking. He decided that cooking is delectable.
Elyza quit her job in the writing career and got a new job as a substitute teacher.
Elyza fixed the broken dishwasher.
And then did a yoga routine.
Then she spent the rest of the day working on her career tasks.
Axton came home from school with his grades up to an A.
The kids worked on their homework.
Liam came home from work with a promotion to office assistant.
Elyza prepared an excellent serving of mac and cheese.
She is a true chef and made a great start to her Soul's Journey.
The family, minus Zack, sat down to eat diner. He was at his fast food job.
He joined his siblings in their dance party.
Then everyone went to bed.
Wednesday
Elyza worked on writing some letters of recommendation as one of her daily work tasks.
At school Yvone was not happy with her Success Determination Test (SDT). She decided to accept the scores and now wishes she would have tried harder.
Elyza's computer broke and she had to fix it before resuming her work tasks.
Zack came home from school with his grades up to an A.
I think Elyza's next work task was to tutor a student online.
Yvone went to practice and they had a guest coach. Her teammates thought it would be a good time for a prank but Yvone didn't want anyone to get into trouble. Practice was boring and Yvone's relationship with her teammates decreased.
Axton worked on some arts and crafts.
Edith stopped by to visit the family.
After practice Yvone went for a job.
Liam typed up some reports for work.
Then everyone went to bed.
Thursday
On Thursday the Neighborhood Stories were much lighter then usual. We learned that the Meyer family adopted a dog. Someone named Candace became distant with her friend Bridget.
Elyza worked on some work tasks.
Then she went to visit her son Erick in his apartment in San Myshuno.
She wanted to get to know her future daughter-in-law Tiffany better.
Then she stopped next door to chat with her son-in-law Myles. He is married to Elyza's son Ethan.
Then she went next door to see her daughter Edith and future son-in-law Clark.
Then she traveled to Brindelton Bay to visit with her future daughter-in-law Anna Pleasant.
Then she went home to prepare a grand feast for the Family Reunion I planned for that evening.
Liam came home with a promotion to Assistant to the Manager.
The family all enjoyed a fish dinner.
Elyza took photos of her kids.
It was nice seeing Clark and Anna getting along. Clark's mom is Angela Pleasant and Anna's mom is Lilth Pleasant. Since the sister's don't get along the cousins are not close and used to get into arguments while in high school.
Edith, Lucas, Clark, and Axton played some video games.
Yvone blew out her birthday candles.
And everyone cheered for her.
Yvone posed for some selfies with her parents.
Then Liam presented her with a birthday gift.
Inside was $100,000. Her portion of the lottery winnings.
The family enjoyed some birthday cake.
Yvone added the dance machine trait.
She used her inheritance to purchase this little ranch in Chestnut Ridge.
She used what was left to purchase some horses and other animals. She plans to open up her own Equestrian center where she trains horses and also rents them out for rides.
She bottle fed her foal Spirit.
And then everyone went to bed for the night.
Friday
I returned to the main house on Friday morning just in time for Neighborhood Stories. Paxton Scott got a job in Food Service. The rest were all changes to relationships/friendships.
Zack got it some dancing before school.
Elyza had a bucket list item to have a romantic kiss in Tartosa. So she and Liam took a trip to the beach.
She also had a bucket list item to take photos outside of her home world. So while in Tartosa, Elyza took several pictures.
Including a selfie with Liam.
Then she got a new bucket list item wanting to renew her vows. I figured why wait and had them renew their vows on the beach. Elyza has No Regrets and made more progress in her soul journey.
Elyza and Liam went swimming and shared a kiss in the ocean.
Then they relaxed and did some sunbathing.
Finally, they juggled the soccer ball and worked on their fitness.
On the way home they stopped by the arcade in Magnolia Promenade. The kids all joined and played some video games.
Then it was time for Axton to blow out his candles and become a teenager.
He rolled the adventurous trait and since I was playing this right after Life and Death came out I decided to give him the Ghost Historian Aspiration.
It was getting really late so I sent everyone home. Liam and Elyza played a quick game of chess. Liam reached level 4 in the skill.
The boys did their homework.
I updated Axton's room with some of the furniture from Life & Death. However, the bed is from Horse Ranch.
Axton practiced writing and reached level 2 in the skill.
Then it was time for everyone to go to bed. Note, I stopped playing at this point back in November as I started playing all the Boolprop birthday challenges. I just returned to this save file this week. So you will start seeing Business and Hobbies going forward.
Saturday
All of the Neighborhood Stories on Saturday were focused on relationship changes.
The family sat down and enjoyed a French Toast breakfast.
Liam and Zack got in a workout.
Liam and Zack both increased their fitness skill.
Elyza worked on her daily career tasks.
Then she painted while Liam used the computer to write up some reports for work.
With Yvone out of the house we have an extra bedroom. So I bought Elyza some pottery stuff. She still needs to get two more skills up to level 8 for her aspiration.
I also created a space in the basement for Liam to work on restoring the stove and fridge that came with the new kit.
Having finished her first piece of pottery, Eliza glazed it and then fired the pot in the kiln.
She placed the finished pot on her desk and went back to working on the writing skill.
Axton worked on his thanantology skill. Not sure I spelled that right.
Elyza prepared dinner for the family.
She was thrilled with Edith stopped by for a visit.
And decided to join the family for dinner.
The day ended with Elyza and Liam having some steamy shower woohoo.
Sunday
On Sunday we learned that Brent Hecking laughed to hard at a dad joke and died. The rest of the updates were about relationships.
I decided it was time for family to get another dog. Of course it had to be a beagle since that is what I have in real life and Elyza is my Sim Self. Met Charlie the Beagle.
In case you can't tell from this photo he has the gluttonous trait.
Liam and Elyza played some chess while waiting for the kids to wake up.
When Axton got up he introduced himself to Charlie.
I added a bunch of Holidays to the save file and it is Winterfest Eve. The traditions are to bake, decorate, clean, and Father Winter. Liam rummaged through some boxes for decorations.
The family ate lunch together.
Axton cleaned a very disgusting looking bathroom sink.
Liam finished restoring the fridge and started working on the stove.
Then the family started decorating the tree.
I think it turned out great and they had a lot fun spending time as a family.
Then Liam and his sons played video games.
While Elyza baked some cookies for Father Winter.
Growing up we always opened one gift each on Christmas Eve, so I figured I would have this family do the same. Zack received some starter herbs.
Axton was gifted a "Wood You Believe" Dragon sculpture.
I sense a theme as Liam got a "Wood You Believe" Bunny.
Elyza probably got the best gift as she received a Schmapple Microwave which I believe are pretty expensive.
Winterfest Eve was a success and I couldn't resist ending the day with a shot of a sleepy puppy.
Monday Morning
Monday morning there were only two updates to Neighborhood Stories. The Michaels household adopted a dog and Piece became distant with his friend Alon.
It is now Winterfest Day and the traditions are give gifts, open gifts, Grand Feast, and Invite over guests. Elyza gave the boys a digital camera for Winterfest.
Elyza prepared the Grand Fest.
She earned her first Mastery Perk: Creative Aura. She can now channel her experience into an aura that helps other sims build creative skills.
Ethan, Lucas, and Edith all brought dishes to share with the family.
Everyone sat down to enjoy their feast.
Erick and Tiffany had some exciting news to share. They are expecting their first child. I can't believe Elyza is about to be a grandmother.
Axton was excited to see his older siblings.
Yvone and Ethan were laughing and joking with Edith's boyfriend Clark.
Everyone gathered around the tree to sing Winterfest Carols.
Then it was time to open gifts, however it is now 5:30 pm on Monday. It is officially time to switch over to the Live for Something Legacy and the Constar family in San Myshuno.
